ANGER MANAGEMENT

The goal of anger management is to reduce both your emotional feelings and the phsiological arousal anger causes. You can't get rid of, or avoid, the things or the people that enrage you, nor can you change them, but you can learn to control your emotions.

 

TAME YOUR TEMPER!

Here are some ways to "chill out!"

Take a time out, although this seems like something you did when you were a child, it really works. Beside the fact that when you were a child you probably smarted off when you went to time out, this time, just chill out! Take some time away from everything, go somewhere, until you cool down.

 

Do a phsyical activity! Go for a run. Take a walk. Jog. Dance. Exercise. All these things help you cool down by momentarily getting you mind off of being angry. Plus when you do such physical activites your brain sends out endorphines through the body, which is the chemical sent out when you have a good laugh!

 

Soothe yourself. Take a bath. Listen to music. Play music. Read a book. Meditate. Etc. All these things helps soothe your inner person which will chill you out! These things help you move along and calm down. They will relax you enough to where you brain mentally says it's not angry!

 

Once your calm express your feelings immediately so that you don't keep it inside you!

 

CAUTION: think before you say something, and make sure your CALM before you tell your feelings so that way you won't say/do something you will
